In April 2025, at the invitation of LTG Holding’s leadership, representatives of the Uzbek energy sector paid a business visit to Georgia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for introducing modern technologies and equipment in Uzbekistan’s energy sector, specifically:
- The implementation of advanced technologies for distribution system operators, including smart meters and related services;
- The modernization of energy facilities and generation systems through state-of-the-art equipment and technological services.
As a result of the discussions, the parties agreed to establish a joint regional office and a training/research center in Uzbekistan.
A memorandum of cooperation was signed, outlining that the active phase of the partnership will commence in May 2025.
