At the invitation of LTG Holding, senior executives from the Turkish energy company HK ENDÜSTRİ ENERJİ paid a working visit to Georgia.
The visit focused on the design and reconstruction of medium‑ and high‑voltage (110 kV and above) overhead transmission lines throughout the Transcaucasus region. Plans include replacing existing overhead lines with underground cable systems and reconfiguring overhead lines for improved reliability.
In addition to transmission works, the discussions covered the construction of medium‑and high‑voltage substations and the outfitting of a state‑of‑the‑art service laboratory, which is intended to become one of the region’s leading testing and maintenance facilities.
Following these talks, both parties agreed to establish a joint regional office, a training center, and a dedicated research laboratory in Tbilisi.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed, outlining that the active phase of the partnership will commence in June 2025.
