In March 2025, at the invitation of the leadership of LTG Holding, the executives of the Chinese company GoldCard– paid a business visit to Georgia.
GoldCard is one of the world’s leading companies in the field of information technology and energy infrastructure services.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for introducing modern technologies and equipment in Georgia, specifically:
- The implementation of advanced technologies for distribution system operators (water, electricity, and gas), including smart meters and related services, which will improve service quality for both residential and commercial sectors.
- Alternatives for enhancing the efficiency of large infrastructure projects, including equipping energy facilities and generation systems with modern equipment and technological services.
As a result, the parties agreed to establish a joint regional office and training/research center of LTG Holding and GoldCard in Georgia, which will serve the countries of the Caucasus, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.
Additionally, a memorandum of understanding was signed between LTG Holding and GoldCard, under which the active phase of the international partnership will begin in April 2025.
